Eyebrows that are corrected through tattoo or cosmetic methods mostly give an unnatural look. For men having eyebrow loss or lacking problems, the most natural solution is to have eyebrow transplantation. Eyebrow transplantation is implemented by transplanting healthy hair follicles extracted from the area called the donor area at the back side of the head between the two ears to the eyebrows.
Eyebrows have great importance in facial expression. The facial expression of the person seriously changes when eyebrows start to get skimpy or partly lost. This makes the face look paler.
The process starts with the patient deciding the eyebrow shape he/ she wants in the consultation with his/her doctor. After this, the patient is given a mild sedative and local anesthesia is applied to the area to be transplanted.
The follicles extracted from the hairy skin are transplanted as extra thinned follicular units into the tiny channels in the skin so that a natural look is gained and no marks remain after the operation. The application takes approximately one hour, and a shower can be taken after one day.
As in other hair and beard transplantation operations, scabs and redness occur in the transplantation area after the application for a few days. The transplanted area completely heals after one week. It takes three to six months for the transplanted eyebrows to completely get longer, and then you have your natural eyebrows. No eyebrow loss problem is experienced again because the follicles extracted from the neck area do not fall.
